Thank you to all the families who came out to explore our biography wax museum. The kids did an exceptional job impressing us with their knowledge and confidence. We are so proud of their hard work and creative, entertaining presentations!!
For random act of kindness week, the students made cookies for the elementary and middle school students.
Fish angler, Mr. McCandless (Aleksander's grandfather), joined the class to share his experience tagging and releasing fish from the beaches of Rhode Island. The children thoroughly enjoyed this in-class presentation, especially when their teacher was tagged. :) The children became experts in their area of study for the living ocean museum. Below are photos of their exhibits. Enjoy!
We share a wonderful few days with our grandparents. Together, students and grandparents enjoyed talking about their favorite memories, hopes and dreams. To conclude our experience we created dream jars inspired by our choral presentation of the book Dream by Susan Bosak. Below are a few photos. After several weeks of our author's study and project preparation their efforts came to fruition.
