Spring has finally Sprung at Walden! These past few months of hibernation have come to an end. We hope this blog post will help to sum up the many happenings in our classroom over the past few months. Please view the various photo albums for more glimpses into the day-to-days of Room 203. See the links to Photo Albums below:
-Space is the Place & Moon -Valentine's Day -A Wintry Mix (Ben Franklin, Presidents, Observatory, etc) -Simple Machines & All Things Green As of March 20th, the Vernal Equinox has brought light back into the classroom and into the school day. Kids and teachers alike are happy for the opportunity of recess where the students can run about and exercise their excited, energetic bodies. We also spent a beautiful Thursday afternoon taking a short walk to mail our Father's Morning letters. We have recently started learning about The Human Body. Starting with The Skeletal System, we are creating life sized models of our bodies. Last Friday we traced our partners on large white scrolls of paper as Mrs. Goodwin and Ms. Kate are modeling in the picture featured above. We are looking forward to adding bones, organs and other body systems over the next few weeks as we piece together the inner workings of the amazing human body!
